4 x 4 Workout . . . and a video

I am really going out on a limb today with you all.  I am getting WAAAAYYYY out of my comfort zone.  I'm probably making it   much bigger deal than it is, but here it is.  I have been asked to post workout videos and show exercises by video on this site.  I always say, yeah, that's a great idea, and then I never follow through.  In fact, in the past I have been rejected from some blog opportunities because I haven't put any videos here.  I will be honest and admit I actually got my stuff together and recorded a couple of workouts but would not publish them.  I just hate the way I look and sound on camera.

I've decided to put myself out there with this and if folks don't like the way I sound then there is a beautiful thing called a mute key.  I actually do that to some of the exercise videos I watch.  Often I will just turn down the volume, turn on my own music and follow the moves.  Easy solution!  I can't do too much about how I look at this point, but hopefully folks will focus on the moves and not the presenter.

I have a really short and efficient workout to share.  It's 4 moves, 4 reps, repeat 4 times.  I have used it as a warm-up, in the middle of a workout or it can be a quick way to put movement in your day when you don't have time for a full workout.

It's really quick and can be modified where you need.  It can also be more intense by adding dumbbells.  Now to my little demo of this workout.  You can tell I'm no videographer as this is very simple and unedited.  You'll even see my sweet pup Fresca make an appearance!

Give it a try and let me know what you think.  I'd love to know how you make it your own - modifications, make it more difficult or how you have fun with it.

Have you planked today?  Don't forget!  Do you exercise to videos?  Ever turn down the volume? Ever just watch the video without lifting a leg to participate?  I confess to that one . . .

Have fun today!
